Post-16 External Reader Scheme
Students in Post-16 education can join the University Library as Post-16 External Readers to access a wide range of useful resources and enhance their studies. This can be particularly useful for students taking an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) or conducting independent research for a piece of coursework.
What are the benefits?
- Access to Western Bank Library and the Health Sciences Library sites (Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Northern General Hospital) during staffed hours.
- Use of the Library’s print collections on a reference basis – thousands of books, journals and other resources that can support school or college work.
- On-site access to some e-journals (after completion of an additional registration form when in the library)
Further information about the benefits of this scheme can be found on the Library’s webpages.
